Pakistan based terrorist and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Masood Azhar made his first public appearance on the foundation day of the banned terrorist outfit JeM last night.

This comes a week after United Nations Security Council (UNSC)'s sanctions monitoring committee completed its two-day visit to Pakistan. Addressing a gathering of new JeM recruits, Masood Azhar made a late night public appearance in Pakistan's Bahawalpur.

India Today has exclusively accessed details of this gathering which was attended by over one thousand JeM recruits in a mosque in Pakistan's Bahawalpur.

Apart from the leader of JeM, the gathering was also addressed by other top JeM functionaries. Themed around Kashmir, Azhar openly took on the Pakistani civilian government and announced that he will carry on with his aggressive agenda on Kashmir.

A calendar of the upcoming JeM events was also distributed in the event, which gave out the details of global terrorist Azhar's itinerary. According to this itinerary, JeM is going to organize a series of gatherings in different cities of Pakistan on the issue of Kashmir.

According to the Terror Calendar accessed by India Today, Masood Azhar will be visiting Karachi on February 3 and Gujranwala on February 5.

According to intelligence sources, "Such events addressed by Masood Azhar are used to collect funds and hire new terror recruits for JeM. These terror recruits are later sent to Kashmir to fuel violence in Kashmir."

India Today had earlier reported that Masood Azhar had flaunted a new organisation named Talba-Al Murabitoon to make an entry into college campuses in Pakistan.

"As Pakistan enters into an election year, even banned terrorist outfits and terrorists are free to move scot-free without any fear of even Pakistan's laws," added the sources.
