Security forces in Kashmir are staring at tough months ahead with what will be the second round of anti-terror operations in the valley after a month, owing to the suspension of operation (SOO) in the month of Ramzan.

With the internal ceasefire now over, India Today has accessed details of a terror plot by Pakistan and affiliated terror groups. According to the records accessed, around 300 terrorists are present at the Line of Control (LoC) and about 250 at the International Border.

The highest number of terror operatives are present at a terrorist base in Dudhnial. Over 34-43 trained jihads are waiting to infiltrate. Around 33-42 terrorists are present at Sonar.

Apart from Sonar is a base at Kel with reports of 30-36 terror operatives present.

Besides these, intelligence agencies have reported that there are multiple launch pads brimming with around 10-12 terrorists in Mandkaro, 17-18 in Chamm, 4 in Chhitrian, 8 in Chattar-II, 7 in Jungle III, close to 10-12 in Jura, 15-18 in Athmuqam, 22 in Sharda, 6 in Hanthi, 13 in Changnad, 6 om Tejian, 10 in Nekrun, 5 in Losar-III, 7 in Domel, 8-10 in Jamgarh and at least 8 in Matchis Factory in Muzaffarabad.

At the International Border manned by the BSF, estimates suggest there could be 250 operatives. According to BSF inputs, there are 6 terrorists in Khojabandi, 14 in Ratta Pani, 8 in Sardari, 27 in Shardi, 20 in Kel, 20 in Dudhnial, 10 in Janwai, 8 in Tejian, 3-4 in Domel, 6 in Doshat, 17 in Athmuqam, 10-12 in Mandauli, 15-20 in Jura, 10 in Chananian, 10 in Kundalsha, 6 in Naukot, 5 in Shahkot, 19 in Jura Bandi, 10 in Kamri and Domel, 7-8 in Lossar II and 8-10 in Sonard.

A source said that as many as 22 terrorists were killed at LoC trying to infiltrate, while there have been efforts by terror organisations to recruit local youth into militancy.
