The incessant rains have wreaked havoc on those living in Kerala. For a lot of people, life has come to a standstill. Videos that seem to be omnipresent show how people have lost their homes, families, shops, vehicles and more.

The damage caused is more than what will ever be reported.

Yet, amid all the tension, there is a bunch of people who are always there to help the distraught people - the Indian Army. Army personnel have time and again come to the rescue of locals in different parts of the country and now they have picked up their battle in Kerala.
