'Paltan' Trailer: The JP Dutta film presents to you the victory of the Indian army that was not told from the 1967 war

JP Dutta, who is famous for his war dramas like 'Border' and 'LOC Kargil' is back with yet another thrilling story based on the Nathu La military clashes of 1967 which took place along the Sikkim border, titled 'Paltan'.

JP Dutta recreated Sikkim's Nathu La Pass in Ladakh for 'Paltan'

The makers on Thursday launched the official trailer of the film starring an ensemble cast including Jackie Shroff, Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Gurmeet Choudhary, Harshvardhan Rane, Siddhant Kapoor, Luv Sinha, Esha Gupta, Sonal Chauhan, Deepika Kakar and Monica Gill.

The trailer opens to footage from the 1962 Indo-Chinese war where India lost the battle. Soon it shifts to 1967 when India retaliated to win over Nathu La, Sikkim. We also get to see glimpses of the army's families, like we had seen in previous Dutta films. The trailer ends with a powerful tagline: "A martyr dies not when he is shot, but when he is forgotten".

'Paltan' showcases an untold story of the Indian forces facing off in an intense battle to ward off a Chinese infiltration.
