A MiG-27 fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed in an agriculture field in Jodhpur's Banad area during a routine mission Tuesday morning. The the pilot ejected safely and no loss of life was reported. However, this is the fifth air crash this year for the IAF and the second involving a MiG fighter jet. None of which augur well for the IAF. Here’s a look at the number of aircraft and men the IAF lost in the last four years.
