Air Force Chief BS Dhanoa reviewed India and Russia Air Force joint exercise of Avindra 2018 on Jodhpur Airbase on Wednesday. He saw operational activities of pilots and tested their strengths. The pilots of IAF and Russian Air Force expressed their strength and expertise by filling helicopter in addition to Sukhoi-30 and MiG-27 aircraft in the air chief’s presence.

On Jodhpur Air Force Station from December 10, in joint combat exercises Russian and Indian pilots are learning war skills. In this exercise, Russian pilots are flying in fighter plane with the pilots of IAF and sharing experiences with each other. In practice 30 fighter aircraft are being used.

Indian Pilots’ Skill Best 

Lieutenant General Lorry Suskov shared the experience of warfare conducted in Jodhpur. He acknowledged that the pilots of Indian Air Force are better than his pilots in the case of skill.

Their high morale, skill is also commendable. He said India in combating terrorism alone. In such a situation, nobody can learn better than fighting terrorists and eliminating terrorism.

However, the environment and conditions of the two countries are quite different. In this joint exercise, the pilots of both countries shared their important experiences with each other and learned the vital tricks of dealing with terrorism.

The Chief of the Air Staff was briefed in detail about various phases of the exercise and was apprised of its progress.
