New Delhi: On a day when Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in no uncertain terms that the government will not sit quiet after the deadly Pulwama terror attack and that this time hisab poora hoga, there are reports from Pakistan that the Islamic country has been spooked by India’s retaliation threat.

Times Now has learned that the Pakistan Air Force has been conducting combat patrols for some days now following the Pulwama terror strike on February 14 in which 40 soldiers of the Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force were killed. The responsibility of the attack was claimed by Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).

As per details available, the Pakistan Air Force has been holding combat patrols in Sargodha, Sialkot and Rawalpindi. The patrols come as the Air Force and the country’s troops have been put on full alert in the wake of the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir.

Times Now National Affairs Editor Srinjoy Chowdhury reported that radars have also been switched on to detect a possible Indian military aircraft flying into Pakistan.

Earlier today, while addressing a rally in Rajasthan’s Tonk, Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed that his government would make the Pulwama attack perpetrators pay. The PM further appealed to the people to have faith in the armed forces and his government.

Referring to Pakistan as the factory of terrorism, PM Modi said peace in the world was not possible if the factory will continue like this.

"There is consensus in the entire world against terrorism. We are moving ahead with strength to punish the perpetrators of terrorism.

"Stern action against those who live in India and push separatism has been taken and will be taken. This is a changed India, this pain will not be tolerated. We will not sit quiet after suffering this pain. We know how to crush terrorism. This is an India of new policies," the PM said.

On Friday, in an indication of the state of alarm in Pakistan, its Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa visited soldiers at the Line of Control (LoC) in PoK and asked them to be ready to face any eventuality. Earlier in the day, Pakistan Army spokesperson Major General Asif Ghafoor issued a warning to India against any “misadventure”.
