The Indian Armed Forces carried out ‘Exercise Bull Strike’, a joint exercise at Teressa island in Andaman and Nicobar on Thursday, 9 May, to boost their coordination in dealing with major security challenges facing the country, official sources said on Monday, reported PTI.

The basic aim of the exercise was to showcase the joint operational capability of the Indian Army, the Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force by undertaking company-level airborne operations and further increase their operational coordination, according to the report.

A number of combat drills were carried out during the exercise, with 170 troops from the three services undertaking para drop operations in a Combat Free Fall and Static Line mode, reported ANI.

The Indian Air Force also shared the video of the Armed Forces skydiving from an IAF aircraft.

According to the video uploaded from the IAF’s YouTube handle, the jump was undertaken from IAF’s C-130 J aircraft. 149 Indian Army, 12 IAF and 9 Indian Navy jumpers took part in the exercise.
