All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief and Hyderabad (TS) MP Asaduddin Owaisi lashed out at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government for its Jammu and Kashmir policy while addressing an Eid Milap at his party's headquarters 'Darussalam'.

The parliamentarian also took a jibe on actor-turned-politician Rajinikanth for comparing Narendra Modi-Amit Shah duo with Lord Krishna and Arjuna.

Taking potshots on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Asaduddin Owaisi said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has no political wisdom like Jawaharlal Nehru or Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, adding that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) also once supported the existence of Article 370 and 35A existence in Kashmir.

"I know this government has no love for Kashmiris, they love the land of Kashmir but not its people, they love power but not the justice. They only want to retain power. But I shall remind them that no one lives or rules for eternity," Asaduddin Owaisi said while over government's Article 370 move.

Asaduddin Owaisi also questioned the decision of scrapping Article 35A and asked if it has been removed from Kashmir then why states like Assam, Mizoram and Nagaland still have it.

He said that the government made a historic mistake which is against the constitution and federalism of the country.

"The government is painting a rosy picture of Jammu and Kashmir then why people are locked inside there? why are they deprived of communication? If they are so happy then let them come out and celebrate," Asaduddin Owaisi said while claiming that none of the Muslim journalists in Kashmir are with the government.

Reacting to megastar Rajnikanth's comments on PM Modi and Amit Shah, wherein the actor turned politician called the duo "Krishna and Arjun" for abrogating Article 370 from the valley, Asaduddin Owaisi asked whether the government wants another 'Mahabharat' in the country.

"Who are the Pandavas if Narendra Modi and Amit Shah are Krishna and Arjun? Does the government want another Mahabharata in the country?" Asaduddin Owaisi questioned.
