New Delhi: The Indian Army has sent home around 10 senior officers after they were charged with moral turpitude and graft cases. ``Sent Home'' refers to dismissing the officials with no pension benefits.

In an interaction with reporters, Adjutant General Lt Gen Ashwini Kumar before his superannuation said, “The Indian Army Chief was very particular on the matters of moral turpitude and corruption. I was asked to fast-track those cases and in the last two and half years around 10 officials were dismissed.
