The international community, including India, has repeatedly asked Pakistan to curb terrorism and take strict action against terror groups operating from its soil.

Washington: Several people gathered outside the Pakistan embassy in Washington on Sunday to protest against Islamabad-sponsored terrorism. Among the protesters were people of Kashmir origin, two congressional candidates from Virginia and several Afghan war veterans.

Some protesters were holding a banner that read, "Pakistan has been involved in more than 90 per cent of all terror attacks that have happened in the past 20 years within the United States."

Several demonstrators held placards demanding action against Pakistan for the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack while others chanted "terror state Pakistan" outside the country's embassy in Washington.
