Five days after the dastardly killing of two SPOs and one Jammu and Kashmir Police constable in Shopian district, an India Today TV investigation has revealed that several of the top terrorists from the Valley have close relatives holding government jobs in the police or the security forces.

A group of dozen Hizbul Mujahideen militants and Lashkar terrorists, who butchered the special police officers and the constable, meanwhile, have steered clear of harming their own relatives who work for the security forces.

The classified document accessed by India Today TV exposes this hypocrisy of the terrorists. Zeenat Ul Islam from Shopian is a Hizb Commander whose brother works in the police department.

Zeenat is incidentally among the top three wanted terrorists in Kashmir Valley.

Mohammed Yousuf Dar alias Yousuf Kantroo alias Issa from Budgam is another terrorist whose brother works as an SPO.

Shams Ul Haq Mengnoo from Shopian has a brother who is an IPS officer. The brother and brother-inlaw of Ishaq Ahmed Dar of Shopian are both employed in the Jammu & Kashmir Police.

Shakir Ahmed Nazar from Kulgam has two paternal uncles who work in the Indian Air Force and the BSF, respectively.

Ishaq Ahmad Bhat from Kulgam is the son of a J&K policeman. His three uncles are also employed in the state police force.

The brother of Shahid Bashir Malik from Awantipora is a policeman. Saifullah Islam Mir's (Pulwama) brother is in the Indian Air Force, while Ishfaq Wani's (Pulwama) brother is in the J&K Armed Police.
