NEW DELHI -- Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth arrived in India on Sunday for a nine-day official visit.

According to official sources in India's external affairs ministry, during his stay in India Jugnauth will be visiting four Indian cities, including New Delhi, Varanasi, Allahabad and Mumbai.

He will also interact with top Indian leadership, including President Ram Nath Kovind, his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi, Minister of Commerce & Industry Suresh Prabhu and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.

The Mauritius prime minister will also interact with Maharashtra Governor Vidyasagar Rao and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

In Varanasi, Jugnauth will attend the inauguration ceremony of the "15th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention" (Persons of India Origin Convention). In Allahabad, he will visit the ongoing "Kumbh Mela," where millions of people take holy dip every day into the confluence of three rivers - Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati.
