Some countries busy spreading terror virus: PM Modi at NAM virtual summit

New Delhi: BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra shared a video of Hizbul Mujahideen chief Sayeed Salahudeen in which the latter while speaking about counterinsurgency operations in Kashmir by the security forces says that the Indian Army has the upper hand.

Salahudeen’s statement comes after security forces eliminated Hizbul chief commander Riyaz Naikoo in operation ‘Jackboot’ conceived and supervised by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. He also claimed responsibility for the Handwara (J&K) terror attack.

Naikoo was eliminated in the hours-long operation carried out by Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police in Beighpora area in Pulwama.

The operation started after the forces got a tip-off about Naikoo hiding in the area. With summer approaching, infiltration is set to increase.

India will respond appropriately to Pakistan’s misadventure

Earlier, Jammu & Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh said that the coordination among various security forces has resulted in huge successes in Jammu and Kashmir, but the fight against terrorism will continue till lasting peace is established in the Union Territory.

Army Chief Gen MM Naravane has already said that India will respond appropriately to Pakistan’s misadventure of pushing terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir.

“India will respond appropriately with precision unless the neighbouring country gives up its policy of state-sponsored terrorism,” said the Army Chief adding that back to back infiltration attempts show that Pakistan is not interested in battling COVID-19.

One Nation Busy Spreading 'Terror Virus'

After the abrogation of Article 370, Pakistan and the top brass of its notorious intelligence agency ISI are planning for a fresh round of offensive in the Valley so as to grab international headlines once the violence hits Kashmir.

Speaking at the virtual Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that while the world is fighting the novel coronavirus, one nation is busy spreading other deadly viruses such as terrorism and fake news.
