ARYAN-52 is an indigenously designed and developed 155x52mm Mounted Gun System (MGS) created by Adani Aerospace and Defence, marking a significant step in India's defence capabilities.

This system is engineered to meet the Indian Army's requirement for a highly mobile, self-propelled artillery platform capable of rapid deployment and high-volume firepower. The ARYAN-52 features a 155mm/52 calibre gun, a standard in modern artillery, known for its long-range and precision capabilities.

The gun system is mounted on a high-mobility 8x8 wheeled platform, providing excellent stability and manoeuvrability across diverse terrains, including plains, mountains, deserts, and semi-deserts.

This mobility is crucial for modern warfare, enabling a rapid "shoot-and-scoot" operational tactic where the system can fire and quickly relocate to evade counter-battery fire. The vehicle platform offers an armoured crew cabin that protects against small arms fire and artillery fragments, enhancing crew survivability in combat situations.

The ARYAN-52 is reported to have a firing range capable of reaching up to 45 kilometres, with a rate of fire that supports both rapid burst and sustained firing modes. It includes modern ammunition handling features such as an autoloader which improves the gun’s firing efficiency and reduces manual handling.

The system is compatible with the Army’s artillery command and fire control systems to allow for precise targeting and integration into networked battlefield command structures.

Designed with a high degree of indigenous content, the ARYAN-52 signifies India's push towards self-reliance in defence production.

This system also aligns with the modernisation initiatives of the Indian Army, particularly enhancing its artillery capabilities with a platform that combines firepower, mobility, protection, and advanced digital fire control technologies.

The ARYAN-52 155x52mm Mounted Gun System from Adani Aerospace and Defence embodies a strategic fusion of advanced artillery technology and all-terrain operational capability, poised to be a pivotal asset for the Indian Army’s artillery modernisation and operational readiness in diverse and demanding combat environments.
