An Anti-Khalistani protest headed by former chief of Indian Youth Congress MS Bitta in progress

AMRITSAR: Echoing with the ‘official ‘ stand of Pakistan government as well as Pakistan based Islamic militant organizations whose leaders only sees the persecution of Muslims in Kashmir and not of Uighur Muslims in the neighbouring Xinjiang province of China, the pro Khalistani Sikh leaders of Pakistan on Thursday also took up the issue of freeing Kashmir during the Operation Bluestar anniversary observed at Nankana Sahib on Thursday.

In a viral video on the net, Pakistan’s ISI backed pro Khalistani leader Gopal Singh Chawla is heard saying that Sikhs would also struggle for the freedom of Kashmir. “We will snatch away our Kashmir and Khalistan”.

A moderate Sikh leader from Pakistan who didn’t wish to give his name said “We have never heard leaders of Pakistan government or of Islamic militant organisations raising their voice in support of Uighur Muslims in China because of Pakistan’s economic interest with the neighbouring country and now Sikh radicals here have also started taking up the issue of so-called persecution of Muslims in Kashmir and they also don’t talk about Uighur’s”.

Quoting saveuighur website he informed “Right now more than two million Uighur Muslims are in Chinese concentration camps. Men are taken to the camps, their children to orphanages and women are forced to live with Chinese men”.

At Nankana Sahib, Pro Khalsitani Sikhs also displayed posters of Referendum 2020, that seeks separation of Punjab from India, on the main gate of Gurdwara Nankana Sahib.

Wearing T-shirt with picture of militant leader Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, Chawla is seen accompanied by a handful of turban-wearing Sikh youth and Muslims. He raised slogans in praise of Sikh militant organisations Babbar Khalsa, Khalistan Commando Force etc. and Pakistan government.

Jocosely speaking at the pitch of his voice, the ISI’s Sikh voice against India, Chawla said that Sikhs in Pakistan would continue to support Referendum 2020 and Sikh militant organizations including Khalistan Commando Force, Babbar Khalsa, Sikh Youth Federation , Khalistan Zindabad Force.

Sounding at his venomous best, Chawla who is also Evacuee Trust Property Board member used expletives before camera against the then Indian prime minister Indira Gandhi who had ordered Operation Bluestar. “Sikhs took her to logical conclusion and all those responsible for the attack on Darbar Sahib will meet the same fate”.

Similarly another Indian Sikh fugitive Gajinder Singh of Dal Khalsa who is believed to be hiding in Pakistan uploaded a message on the occasion of Eid on his Facebook page greeting to Muslims especially to the Muslims of Kashmir whom he claimed were subjected to atrocities by Indian government.
