The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a series of fresh attacks on Pakistani security forces as part of its ongoing Operation Almas, alleging that several military personnel were killed and that government positions were overrun during coordinated assaults.

According to a statement issued by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, the group claimed that its fighters killed a Military Intelligence (MI) captain along with several members of the Pakistan Army's Special Services Group (SSG). The separatist organisation further alleged that Pakistani forces suffered substantial human and material losses across multiple locations.

The BLF stated that clashes forced Pakistani security personnel to withdraw from a number of positions and claimed that Operation Almas was continuing with “full intensity and success” on several fronts.

Videos purportedly linked to the violence have surfaced online. In one clip, a woman can be heard saying, “Pakistan is defeated now & and cannot fight us”, while gunfire echoes in the background. Another video reportedly shows a woman firing what appeared to be an assault rifle.

The group also claimed that its fighters captured the main camp of the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) and subsequently raised the BLF flag at Gwadar Zero Point. According to the organisation, the move demonstrated what it described as its battlefield gains during the operation.

In a further claim, the BLF said it had taken control of the Muzhani police station, seizing official weapons and military equipment. The group alleged that a police official was killed during the confrontation.

Separately, in the Gubd area, the BLF claimed responsibility for an attack on a convoy of Pakistani security forces. The organisation alleged that one army vehicle was destroyed and that several military personnel travelling in it were either killed or injured.

The separatist group also stated that its fighters seized control of the police checkpoint at Gubd Cross following the attack.

The reported claims could not be independently verified. The BLF is one of several insurgent groups operating in Pakistan's south-western Balochistan province, where a long-running separatist insurgency has fuelled recurring clashes between militants and security forces. The region's strategic importance has increased in recent years because of major infrastructure and development projects centred around the port city of Gwadar.

Throughout its statement, the BLF portrayed the latest attacks as evidence of its operational capabilities, claiming that Pakistani forces had been unable to prevent advances made under Operation Almas.
