Bhumi Entech Unveils SHATRUNJAY 1.0: AI-Powered Anti-Drone Shield For The Next Battlefield

Bhumi Entech has unveiled Shatrunjay 1.0, a next-generation indigenous Counter-UAS and drone jammer system designed to strengthen India’s defence capabilities against evolving unmanned aerial threats.
The system represents a significant advancement in electronic warfare and counter-drone technology, combining RF detection, precision tracking, AI-based target classification and layered neutralisation measures.
Shatrunjay has been engineered to detect, track, identify and neutralise hostile drones with high precision. It is rugged, mission-ready and optimised for rapid deployment across diverse operational environments.
The system can be mounted on vehicles for mobile operations or configured as a man-portable unit for tactical missions, making it versatile for frontline forces, critical infrastructure protection and special operations.
The platform’s modular open-architecture design allows seamless integration with advanced technologies. Optional integrations include AI-enabled electro-optical systems, kinetic kill mounted guns, RF jamming modules, GNSS/GPS jamming and GPS spoofing capabilities.
This layered approach ensures both “soft kill” and “hard kill” options are available depending on operational requirements.
The RF detection capability enables the system to scan wide frequency bands to identify drone communication signals, while precision tracking ensures hostile UAVs can be monitored even before they become visually identifiable.
AI-based target classification enhances the system’s ability to distinguish between friendly and hostile aerial platforms, reducing the risk of false engagements.
Electronic warfare modules provide the ability to disrupt or disable drones by jamming communication links and navigation signals.
GPS spoofing adds another layer of deception, potentially forcing hostile drones off course or rendering them ineffective. For direct interception, kinetic kill options such as mounted guns can physically destroy aerial threats.
Shatrunjay has been developed under India’s indigenous defence push, ensuring full intellectual property ownership and reducing dependence on imported technologies.
