India on Tuesday submitted its reply in the International Court of Justice in connection with the Kulbhushan Jadhav case.

This is India's second written pleadings in the court after the first filed on September 12, 2017.

In response to the first pleadings, Pakistan filed its counter-reply to the International court on December 13.

Jadhav, 47, was sentenced to death on charges of espionage and terrorism by a Pakistani military court in April last year.

The International Court of Justice in May had halted his execution on India's appeal.

Pakistan claims its security forces arrested him from restive Baluchistan province on March 3 in 2016 after he reportedly entered from Iran. However, India maintains that Jadhav was kidnapped from Iran where he had business interests after retiring from the Indian Navy.
