"Few days ago, prime minister of Pakistan said that India is planning to take an action bigger than Balakot. It means that Pakistan PM acknowledges what India did in Balakot," said Rajnath Singh in Panchkula

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday claimed Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan acknowledges what India did in Balakot after an earlier statement by Pak PM when he said that New Delhi was planning to take an action bigger than Balakot.

Flagging off the 'Jan Ashirwad Yatra' in Panchkula in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday, Rajnath Singh said, "few days ago, prime minister of Pakistan said that India is planning to take an action bigger than Balakot. It means that Pakistan PM acknowledges what India did in Balakot."

BJP's 'Jan Ashirwad Yatra' will cover all 90-Assembly segments during the 22 days in the state to drum up support for the party in view of the upcoming Assembly elections.

The Union Defence Minister also lashed out at Pakistan for trying to internationalise Article 370 move and said if talks with Pakistan will take place then they will now be on Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK).

He said, "Article 370 was abrogated in Jammu and Kashmir for its development. Our neighbour is knocking doors of the international community saying India made a mistake. Talks with Pakistan will be held only if it stops supporting terror. If talks are held with Pak it will now be on PoK."

Speaking on Haryana which will witness Assembly election later in the year, Rajnath Singh said, "In 2014, we did not project anyone as the chief ministerial face to the public. After winning the poll, we decided to hand over the responsibility to a 'fakeer' like Manohar Lal Khattar."

"I give credit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for unearthing a diamond-like Manohar Lal Khattar for Haryana," he added.

Accusing previous state governments of corruption, Singh said, "In the past 15-20 years, each Chief Minister was indulged in corruption. The current Chief Minister has dedicated his life to serving the public of Haryana."

"Haryana which has reached the third slot in terms of ease of doing business will top the list if you vote for BJP again in the coming Assembly polls," he said.

Talking about agriculture in Haryana, Singh said that under Khattar's leadership, the government will double farmers' income by 2021 itself instead of 2022.

"The way the Chief Minister is working, by 2021 itself the income of farmers in Haryana will be doubled," he said.
