Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with RADIX CIPL on 21 August 2026 in Bangalore to collaborate on Tactical Cellular Solutions, focusing on secure, resilient, and advanced defence communication systems.

This partnership aims to strengthen indigenous capabilities and accelerate innovation in tactical cellular technologies.

Bharat Electronics Limited, a Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, formalised the agreement with RADIX CIPL to enhance collaboration in the field of Tactical Cellular Solutions.

The MoU was signed with the objective of promoting joint development, technology exchange, and knowledge sharing in cellular technologies specifically tailored for tactical and defence applications.

The agreement outlines several key objectives. It seeks to facilitate collaboration in the development of advanced and reliable tactical cellular systems. It also aims to enable technology transfer and mutual knowledge sharing in cellular communication technologies.

Another important goal is to strengthen the technical capabilities of both organisations. Additionally, the MoU encourages exploration of new opportunities and the creation of innovative solutions to meet emerging operational requirements in the defence sector.

Through this partnership, BEL and RADIX CIPL intend to leverage their complementary expertise and resources to drive technological advancement in secure and resilient tactical communication systems.
