The significant land allocation was officially announced during the prestigious 'Allotment of Land for Industry' program held at the Milan Mela premises in Kolkata on Wednesday.

This ambitious project will be set up inside Phase-II of the Jangal Sundari Karmanagari Industrial Park, marking a pivotal moment in the industrial development of the region.

Rigorous efforts are underway by the state government's Industry, Commerce and Enterprises Department to transform and develop Raghunathpur into a thriving modern industrial hub.

According to official administrative data, the expansive industrial park of Raghunathpur spans across roughly 1,924 acres of strategically designated land in its core zone.

The strategic area benefits from strong connectivity via well-maintained state highways as well as an extensive regional railway network. The key Adra Junction railway station is situated in close proximity, and the major arterial National Highway 19 is located just a short distance away.

As a direct consequence of these logistical advantages, this specific zone is regarded as exceptionally well-suited for hosting mega industrial undertakings. This time around, high-value defence hardware production is set to be integrated into that expanding industrial infrastructure landscape.

The enterprise group, long celebrated for its decades-old expertise in heavy railway engineering and rolling stock manufacturing, has recently expanded its operational footprint into several other strategic sectors, including defence production.
