DroneVerse Advances Indigenous Drone And Counter-Drone Systems For Indian Defence Forces

DroneVerse is emerging as a key player in India’s indigenous defence technology ecosystem, designing and manufacturing advanced drone and counter-drone systems that have already been tested in extreme operational environments such as Ladakh and integrated into frontline Army deployments.

DroneVerse has developed indigenous drone and counter-drone technologies specifically for the Indian Defence Forces. Its Rudra‑7 FPV drones have been successfully demonstrated at altitudes of 18,000 feet in Ladakh, proving their reliability in thin air, freezing temperatures, and turbulent winds.
These drones executed precision strike simulations, high-speed climbs, and real-time live feed transmissions, validating their combat readiness for frontline assault missions.
They are designed with modular payload slots, capable of carrying explosive warheads or surveillance pods, and feature lightweight carbon-composite airframes with intelligent stabilisation for terrain-adaptive operations.
The company has also showcased its Counter‑Unmanned Aerial Systems (C‑UAS), engineered to detect, track, and neutralise hostile drones. These systems are critical for protecting forward bases, convoys, and critical infrastructure as drone warfare becomes central to modern conflicts.
DroneVerse received an Army Commendation for Innovation and Technical Excellence, underscoring its contribution to India’s defence ecosystem.
In addition, DroneVerse has partnered with Triangula to deploy an AI Gunshot Detection and Autonomous Drone Response System. This system uses distributed acoustic sensors and AI-trained libraries to triangulate hostile fire within seconds, automatically launching drones to provide real-time aerial intelligence.
The drones stream electro-optical and thermal imagery to commanders, identify human activity, and can drop ammunition on confirmed targets. With endurance of up to 90 minutes and day/night operational capability, this system enhances soldier safety and rapid response in high-threat environments.
DroneVerse has also demonstrated edge-native autonomous drone swarms in collaboration with Tashi Network. These swarms can self-coordinate, redistribute tasks, and continue missions even when some drones lose connectivity or battery power.
Tested over a simulated battlefield, the swarms executed coordinated surveillance, strike, and search-and-rescue missions, proving the viability of decentralised communication meshes for future warfare.
These achievements align with India’s broader push for self-reliance in defence technology. By achieving over 90% indigenisation across its platforms, DroneVerse ensures supply-chain security and long-term sustainment.
Its systems are being developed under structured Transfer of Technology frameworks and Make in India programs, reinforcing national objectives of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
