In a sensational development, Pakistan has echoed the tunes of PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti and NC chief Farooq Abdullah on the Kashmir issues. Addressing a press conference, Pakistan Minister of Foreign Affairs Shah Mehmood Qureshi questioned on the internal decisions taken by the Indian government for Jammu and Kashmir.

Imran Khan's minister has not only questioned the deployment of 10,000 troops in Kashmir over security concerns, but has also sided the likes of Mufti and Abdullah in questioning the government on Article 35A. 

"Additional 10,000 troops have been sent to Kashmir. What is the need for that amid heavy security forces in the Valley. All parties conference talks are underway. Parties which were once coalition forces, are not only distancing themselves from the policies of the Centre and even questioned the Centre. Local parties are showing resentment, they want to meet PM. Mehbooba Mufti called for an all-parties conference minus BJP," the Pakistan Foreign Minister said during the press briefing. 

Mehbooba Mufti Fear Mongers Over Article 35A

Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti has said that 'those who will touch Article 35 A will burn to ashes'. On Sunday, Mehbooba Mufti attempted to provoke people of the Valley with her controversial remarks. Addressing party workers on the PDP foundation day, she said, "people who are trying to touch Article 35A will not only burn their hand but their entire body will be burned." She threatened violence if the status of Article 35A is changed. On July 31, she toured several districts in the state of Jammu and Kashmir to unite her cadre on the status of Article.

Farooq Abdullah Backs Mufti

The senior NC leader has also spoken against the removal of Article 35A and Article 370 from the state of Jammu and Kashmir. He further added that the Centre is creating 'a situation of fear' moreover threatened saying 'wait and watch the consequences.' 

"They are creating a situation of fear. If they abrogate 35 A, they will have to abrogate every Article that has come by the President. We will have to go back to 1947. Abrogating the Article is against the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir," Farooq Abdullah had said.
