New York: Addressing the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Friday said that terrorism is a challenge not for any one country, but for the entire world. Modi began his speech by touching upon a number of welfare schemes launched by his government. Speaking at the 74th UNGA session, Modi recounted India's achievements in the health sector and announced that India will be TB-free by 2025. Batting for 'harmony and peace', Modi urged the world to unite against terror.

Modi's speech will be followed by Pakistan PM Imran Khan, who will address the Assembly shortly afterwards. Khan has already announced that he will be 'forcefully' raising the issue of Kashmir and India's decisions following the abrogation of Article 370.
