The Indian Army has inaugurated AASHVAST, which stands for Assessment and Analysis of Electronic Systems Hardware for Vulnerabilities and Security Threats. This specialised facility is focused on strengthening the integrity, reliability, and security of mission-critical military electronics.

The inauguration was carried out by General Dhiraj Seth, Chief of the Army Staff. His presence underlined the importance of this initiative in enhancing India’s defence preparedness. The facility is equipped with advanced capabilities to evaluate critical defence platforms and identify vulnerabilities.
