Dawood Ibrahim's Nephew Rizwan Kaskar Arrested At Mumbai Airport While Trying To Escape India

The Mumbai Police on Wednesday arrested India's most wanted Dawood Ibrahim's nephew Rizwan Kaskar in an extortion case. Rizwan was nabbed at Mumbai airport.
Dawood's brother Iqbal Kaskar's son Rizwan was arrested by Mumbai Police anti-extortion cell last night while he was trying to leave the county. Meanwhile, his interrogation is underway.
Rizwan Kaskar, who is the son of Dawood's brother Iqbal Kaskar is lodged in Thane Jail. Prior to this, Dawood's two nephews had visited Mumbai to meet his younger brother Iqbal Kaskar, who is lodged in Thane jail.
Two days ago, Mumbai Police's anti-extortion cell arrested Ahmed Raza Wadharia, a close aide of Ibrahim's gang member Fahim Machmach, in an extortion case, a senior official from the crime branch said.
"During his interrogation, Rizwan Kaskar's name cropped up. Based on the information, a trap was laid and he was detained at the Mumbai international airport on Wednesday night when he was trying to escape from the country," he said.
He was placed under arrest after detailed interrogation, the official added.
